The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia popularly known as General Mosquito seems to be trending on Twitter.

Asiedu Nketia who is poised to unseat incumbent National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo speaking at the ongoing National Delegates Congress has asked delegates to vote for candidates who can help wrestle power from the hands of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

“I thank you for your cooperation and thank everybody. Those I’ve offended may the Lord touch your heart to forgive me...” he added.

Some 9000 delegates are gathered at the Accra Sports Stadium to choose candidates who will lead the party for the next four years.
