Dennis Miracles Aboagye says President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will fulfil his 'Agenda 111' promise to Ghanaians.

He assured the populace that the project will surely be completed within the specified period.

Under the 'Agenda 111' project, the President intends to build district and Regional hospitals to ameliorate the health challenges in the country.

The project which was announced to commence in August last two years and all the hospitals completed within 18 months seems to have halted as not much on its progress is known to the public.

The hospitals which will cost $16.88 million each was announced by the President in April 2020.

Also, the Minority in Parliament on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 toured the Adeiso project site and found that it has been overrun with weeds and huge stones.

Hon. Kwabena Minkah Akandoh, a Ranking Member on Parliament's Health Committee, told the media that the contractor abandoned the project after pocketing $1.3 million.

But the Director of Local Government Services at the Office of the President, Dennis Miracles has explained why it seems there is no progress, revealing that some of the places earmarked for the construction of the hospitals have technical issues but the authorities are addressing them to ensure the project comes off successfully.

He mentioned a place like Madina and disclosed that there is a dispute over the land that the government has acquired, and at Tema West, they found no land.
 
He further revealed that there is nothing on the Adeiso project site because the land is rocky and the authorities are looking at alternatives to commence the project.

"Challenges exist but if you don't set out to do it, how can you confront the challenges? If every time you give excuse for not doing something, how can we develop the nation? We should get into it. We will face the challenges and then once we face the challenges, we fix it and then we deliver," he told Kwami Sefa Kayi while speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" morning show.

Dennis Miracles asked Ghanaians not to fall for the deception by the Minority in Parliament that the project is a "scam".
