AFTER 100 YEARS of existence, the oldest football club in the country now has its own training pitch. The Pobiman Project has been duly completed and handed over to the Hearts management.
The splendid-looking pitch was constructed by Green Grass Technology, Daily Guide Sports learnt. The Hearts playing body would soon move to the place and train for both league and other matches.
Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak clocks 100 years this year and the completion of the training pitch is a step in the right direction.
The club has won several silverwares in their long history including the Africa Champions League, Africa Super Cup and scores of league titles.
