NPP Needs an Unblemished Character with a Good Track Record – Addai-Nimoh

"NPP needs an unblemished character with a good track record. We need to do something different for our party to be attractive enough to break the 8..." says NPP Presidential hopeful, Francis Addai-Nimoh

Delegates of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) will go to the polls on Saturday to elect a flag bearer for the 2024 general election.

The candidates are: the Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong; Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia; a former Minister of Food and Agriculture, Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto, and a former MP for Mampong in the Ashanti Region, Francis Addai-Nimoh.

Among all the candidates, Francis Addai-Nimoh believes he stands tall when it comes to "unblemished character and track record" because he's never "been in government before".

Speaking in a one-on-one interview on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', he says "at this critical and crucial point in the history of the party to break the 8, we need someone who is not in government; someone who has an unblemished character and track record in public and private life, a natural unifier and I satisfy all those requirements".
