NPP Parliamentary Election: Klottey Korley Council Of Elders Urge Aspirants To Promote Peace & Unity

Chairman of Council of Elders at  Klottey Korley constituency, Mr. Kwabena Abankwah-Yeboah and his team have called on parliamentary aspirants of the New Patriotic Party to smoke the peace pipe ahead of the upcoming primaries.

He asked them to ensure absolute peace before and after the elections during a Council meeting.

The purpose of the meeting was to talk to the candidates to affirm their support for whoever wins the Saturday primaries and to talk about they engaging in about decorous campaign in the last few days.

Mr. Abankwah-Yeboah urged the parliamentary aspirants to caution their followers not to pour derogatory comments against one another.

He also admonished them to do a clean campaign devoid of insult and charged the constituency executives to be neutral saying “though you may have your favorite candidate but let’s think about the party first in order to ensure and stay as neutral as possible in this last days towards their elections for the unity we require after and before the election to be achieved”.

Mr. Abankwah-Yeboah further stated “whoever wins should be ready to bring others on board for the 2023 campaign”.

Hon. Adjei Tawia, MCE for Klottey Korley Constituency also advised all polling station executives to actively participate in the unity talks.

Present at the meeting were all the parliamentary aspirants; Nii Noi Nortey, Prince Appiah Debrah, Harry Quartey and Rexford Oppong Ansah.
