The Cathedral Peak, A Must Visit Wine Estate In South Africa.

The Cathedral Peak Wine Estate established in 1995 by Mauritz Koster is a must-visit tourist destination for wine lovers any time you visit South Africa.

The wine estate farm located on a vast land in Drakensburg in KwaZulu Natal province of South Africa is home to a variety of grapes that are eventually brewed into some of the finest wines you will find in the country and beyond.

The story of the founder of Cathedral Peak estate wines is one of tenacity, dedication cheer determination as his dream of successfully cultivating grapes and appropriately brewing wines as early as 1996 became a reality in 2013 after several failed attempts at getting the cellar master.

In 2014, the cathedral peak opened the cellar. In 2017, they won their first trophy after competing with about 3000 wineries and built the tasting room in 2019.

The Cathedral Peak can boast of wines like the Cathedral Peak Merlot Reserve, merlot blanc de Noir, UNESCO 985, Pinotage, and Cabernet Sauvignon reserve, which is the forte of South Africa.
