Bono East NPP Congratulates Martin Adjei Mensah-Korsah On His Nomination As Local Government Minister
Bono East NPP members have congratulated Martin Adjei Mensah-Korsah on his new appointment as Minister-designate for Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development.
His new post was announced in a statement from the presidency on February 14, 2024.
Bono East NPP in a statement expressed their gratitude to President Nana Addo Dankwa AKufo-Addo and promised to support Mr Mensah-Korsah to excel at his new post.

CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE FROM THE NPP – BONO EAST TO HON. MARTIN ADJEI-MENSAH KORSAH, MP AND MINISTER DESIGNATE FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT, DECENTRALIZATION AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT (LGDRD)
On behalf of the rank and file of the New Patriotic Party and its leadership from the Polling Stations, Electoral Areas, Constituencies and the Region, we congratulate the Hon. Member of Parliament and Parliamentary Candidate for Techiman South Constituency, MARTIN ADJEI-MENSAH KORSAH (HON.) on the huge honour of his appointment as a Minister-designate responsible for Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development, by the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo.
Yesterday, the 14th of February, 2024, the Bono East Region got its first-ever Cabinet Minister in the generous, illustrious, diligent and political luminary of our generation, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah as a Minister responsible for Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development (LGDRD).
In conveying our profound applause to the President for such a decisive and bold decision, we are particularly grateful and pleased for the inclusion of the generous and diligent son of Bonokyempem, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah in the President's illustrious list of Cabinet members.
Without an iota of doubt, we remain certain that, Hon. Korsah, who is also the Sompahene of Techiman Traditional Area, has competently distinguished himself over the years, as a results-driven individual, whose contributions would be largely instrumental in driving our party and government in the Bono East and the entire country to a historic emphatic victory in the 2024 general elections.
Finally, we will like to call on all well-meaning Ghanaians, especially, the people of the Bono East region to rally their unflinching support and prayer behind the Hon. Minister to succeed in his new role as we gear ourselves towards making history by breaking the Eight (8) with Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia and snatch more seats in the region.
