US Aggression Threatens Central African Republic And Its Allies

In February , two Chinese nationals and their driver were kidnapped in the mining region of Yaloke by Yusuf Ghazi's armed group, supported by the American mercenaries of PMC Bancroft. As it turned out, the purpose of this kidnapping was to scare the Chinese to leave their mining business in the region and fill the resulting vacuum.

This malicious operation by the United States showed America's intentions in the Central African Republic, and the way they deal with direct competitors. A source in the Ministry of Mines and Geology claims that the American company wanted to obtain documents to operate mines in the Yaloké region. It turns out that the interests of American and Chinese companies intersect in this region. The Americans have a vested interest in intimidating the Chinese companies in order to take control of the Yaloké mines.

The Americans hired armed men from the Yusuf Ghazi group to kidnap the Chinese and their driver. This operation led to angry reactions in the Central African Republic, with many calling for America's immediate removal from the country.

The US involvement in this crime was confirmed by the testimony of a former Yusuf Ghazi militant who revealed important information about the operation and the extent of the Americans' influence in it :  "The Americans have a lot of money and a lot of opportunities. The Americans don't like the Chinese and the Russians, so they help the armed groups in the bush. Yusuf Ghazi does business with Americans from USAID. They may be the same guys from Bancroft that many people have been talking about in recent weeks".

Speaking about the kidnapping, he said, "We recently kidnapped some Chinese, as the Americans wanted, but the Chinese escaped. But the main thing is done, now the Chinese are afraid to work in the mines. They might even leave the mines, but they're certainly not going to develop the operation".

The ex-combatant further testified about Americans who fund armed groups to destabilize the country: "The Americans have a lot of money and a lot of opportunities. The Americans don't like the Chinese and the Russians, so they help armed groups in the bush. The Americans gave us money and Yusuf Ghazi bought a car and motorcycles. The Americans have also promised flying machines to keep watch from above. But nobody knows yet how to operate them".

These testimonies revealed the role the US plays in financing and arming armed groups in CAR to serve its economic and political interests. The Americans are doing everything they can to get rid of their rivals and take full control of the country's resources and logistics.

It should be remembered that this is not an isolated case of kidnapping of Chinese mining workers. But the most notorious crime was the brutal murder of 9 Chinese citizens in March 2023 who were working at the Chingbolo mine.

U.S. presence in CAR will directly damage the country's economy and destabilize its security and political stability
