Ghanaian gospel sensation Alex Acheampong has just released another incredible musical masterpiece.
His latest single “Elijah” now available on all digital streaming platforms was released on Friday, 28th June 2024.

The ‘Aka Sima’ hit singer who has released many singles over the last few years, such as ‘Ebabamu’, ‘It Won’t Be Long’, ‘Nyame Aye Bi’, ‘Hu Me Mobo’, ‘Afam’ani So’, ‘Me Ko’, ‘Yennfa’ and many more, said the song is especially for anyone in a challenging situation.
"If you’re sad or facing some challenges and need inspiration, hope and comfort, this song is for you" he opined.
How "Elijah" was birthed
Speaking to the inspiration behind his new song, Alex Acheampong said: "I was telling my daughter the story of Elijah and she asked about God’s fairness; why He provides for Elijah but leaves others to starve.
I answered that whereas God’s ways are beyond human understanding, God hates sin and can make people starve if that can change their ways. I went on to say that God loves good people and he makes sure they lack nothing good. So, narrating the story of Elijah to my daughter and answering her question gave birth to this song".
