Jonathan Mensah Claims French Club Evian Talks

Jonathan Mensah is generating interest in France and admits he could be lured away from Udinese. The 20-year-old defender is reported to be a target for Ligue 1 new boys Evian Thonon Gaillard, as they ready themselves for life in the French top flight. The Ghana international has expressed no desire to leave his current Italian employers, but he acknowledges that anything can happen. As he is yet to force his way into the first-fold at Udinese, he admits that he is willing to consider any offers that are put on the table. I have heard about a French team being interested in me, said Mensah. Nothing is done at the moment. Udinese have been very good to me and I am very happy to be at this club. Football can be a strange workplace, though, and you can move any time two clubs agree terms.
