Former Togo Captain Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor will bid farewell to his teeming Ghana fans in a special way, Daily Guide Sports can confirm. The Manchester City forward, together with Stephen Appiah and Sulley Muntari among other stars, forming the Adebayor XI, storm the Carl Reindorf Park this afternoon to battle Liberty Professionals in a charity match. Dubbed �Adebayor�s parting shootout�, the charity match commemorates the striker�s stay in Ghana during the football break. While in the country, Adebayor paid a courtesy call on Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and as well commissioned two water projects he funded in the Upper West Region. He is expected to fly out soon for a pre-season training session.
