Police Hospital Shut Down Theater

The administrators of the Police Hospital on Monday July 18 closed down the facilitys only theater to make way for renovations. The closure of the theater will last for the next four weeks while emergency cases requiring theater services are to be referred to other hospitals. The hospital administration last week announced the closure and apologized to the public about the situation. The Public Relations Officer of the hospital, Chief Inspector Juliana Obeng in an interview with Citi News disclosed that the closure of the theater will not affect the entire operations of the facility. We hope to come back in four weeks to our normal schedule. Like we announced last week, the closure of the theater does not mean the closure of the hospital. "So far we have not had any emergency that would require theater service and there has been an arrangement in place to cater for extreme emergency cases but so far no such case has been recorded. We are sorry about it but we are appealing to the public to refer cases that would require theater services to other health facilities around.
