Pure Joy Draw With Amazulu In Pre-Season

Ghanaian second-tier side Pure Joy FC drew 2-2 with South African Premier Soccer League side Amazulu in a friendly match on Monday. The Tema-based side came from behind to earn the draw through strikes from Robert Abanga and Adjei Kometei. Pure Joy have been in South Africa for the past six days and want to engage in a series of matches to trim the rough edges ahead of the National Division One League campaign. The game was a great and were putting the team in shape and the trip has been very useful for us, The clubs head coach Abraham Allotey said. We will still continue with our training and hopefully well come back home knowing we have a team that will be capable of challenging for honours and qualifying for the Premier League.
