Fred Pappoe will be retained as vice-president of the Ghana Football Association, sources within the federation have told GHANAsoccernet.com.
The Great Olympics director will be picked when the executive committee meets to elect the five-member emergency committee later this month.
Pappoe, who won by a landslide victory en route to be re-elected onto the executive committee for another term has endeared himself to members of the football fraternity due to his work ethics.
He has been largely credited for his supervisory role in the startling run of the Black Stars over the past five years.
Under his leadership as Black Stars management committee head, Ghana made two Fifa World Cup appearances and reached the quarter-final at the last edition in South Africa 2010.
The regional FA elections later this week will complete the cast of 22 members but even before that GHANAsoccernet investigation has revealed he will be retained.
It has been widely speculated that Berekum Chelsea owner Emmanuel Kyeremeh will challenge Pappoe for the position.
FA Spokesperson Randy Abbey and Hearts of Oak CEO Fred Crentsil are likely to face stiff competition to retain their places on the emergency committee.
