Ghana striker Junior Agogo has ended his search for a club by signing a one-year contract with Scottish side Hibernian, GHANAsoccernet.com can report.
The deal is subject to international clearance.
Agogo�s move also paves the way for him to fight back into the Black Stars squad after falling out of favour following his move to Egypt.
The 31-year-old impressed manager Colin Calderwood after spending on week on trial with the club.
Hibernian will now be hoping the paperwork for Agogo can be put in place by Friday ahead of their second league outing of the campaign this weekend at Inverness.
The highly experienced striker joins the Scottish top-flight after playing in the English Championship, the USA, Egypt and Cyprus.
�I�ve not played in Scotland before but I�m really looking forward to the challenge ahead,� Agogo said.
Manager Colin Calderwood added: �I�m sure the fans will take to him and that his arrival will further strengthen our attacking options.�
Agogo has been capped 27 times, scoring 12 international goals for Ghana.
�We are really pleased to be able to add Junior to the squad,� said Calderwood.
�He is a proven goalscorer and a strong character and he has already settled into Hibernian life in the two weeks he has been on trial with the club.
�Junior never gets fazed by challenges and he will add another dimension to our attacking arsenal.�
Calderwood previously worked with the player at Nottingham Forest.
