Nigerians Must Go Now!

It has recently come to my attention that 45 Ghanaians were deported from Nigeria and robbed by the government of the Nigeria by being prevented from even collecting their stuff. Historically both Nigeria and Ghana have done massive deportations of each others citizens. In 1969 Ghana deported up to 2 million Nigerians and in the 80's Nigeria deported 1.5 million Ghanaians while mocking the poor citizens by naming a bag after them, the Ghana Must Go Bag. I thought we had matured past the stage of such massive deportations but, if we have not then, I am of the opinion that it is time to deport at least 5 times the amount deported from Nigeria. That would mean we need to deport at least 225 Nigerians. Prior to the migration of Nigerians in the 90's Ghana was not known for several crimes like the infamous 419 crimes but, since Nigerians started coming to Ghana the fraudulent crimes have put our country on the list of the top 419 countries in the world. Ghana's good name and hard won reputation has been forever tarnished due to these criminal elements who have disrespected the kindness and welcoming attitude of Ghanaians. In fact, some of the low thinking ones among them view this kindness as a form of weakness and may prefer to be treated as they are in other countries which either deport them or execute them as a quick internet search will prove! It seems we are importing some of the worst irritants from Nigeria and if we don't get rid of them we are going to have to continue paying for their crime. Surely there are some good Nigerians but, the bad ones outweigh the good ones. The bad ones include those who commit the aforementioned crimes, and those who have unearned arrogance. By far the later irritants are the most annoying of the Nigerians and the first that must be deported! It is this arrogance that manifested itself when the vain minister within Nigeria had the audacity to deport migrants without letting them collect their things. This is by far the lowest level of primitive nature that can occur in 2011 and does not happen in any state where there is rule of law. I am sure their belongings are now being shared among the criminal element in that country. Thus, the time has come! We need an Aliens Compliance Order of 2011 similar to that of 1969 to rid us of the criminal element of Nigerians within Ghana. They have gotten the ball rolling again so, we must finish it this time. It starts by kicking all those who overstayed their visa out of Ghana as they are likely jobless and committing crimes. It continues by auditing the source of funding for many of the criminal businesses we have imported from Nigeria in recent years. It further continues by reasserting that if you are going to be a guest in Ghana you better follow the rules or, there is a consequence. After all, if the standard in 2011 is kicking people out without their belongings then, that is the least we can do.
