Popular Nollywood actor Ernest Asuzu has responded to reports in Nigeria that he is a drug lord who deals in cocaine. �You and I know that cocaine is not a cheap substance; and to be a cocaine addict is not easy to maintain. At a point in his acting career, Ernest was widely reputed as the playboy of Nollywood. At other times, he was the �bad boy� of Nigerian movies and his name was always in one controversy or another. After a two-year break from acting, Asuzu surfaced in 2007 claiming he was born-again. The actor told Daily Sun at the time that his thoughts and actions would be guided by God. His priority was how he would explore his talent as a musician. Ernest is one of the Nollywood actors who have a lot of movies to their credit. He has been in the game for some time now but not much is heard about him in recent times. He first acted in �Another Campus Queen� by Hilda Dokubo. After that, he appeared in a number of flicks but �Rituals�, by Kenneth Nnebue, gave him his major breakthrough. He has featured in other movies as �Evil Spin�, �Effective Crime� and �State of Emergency�.
