Kasapreko,Vodafone and Star Beer Storms Odambea Festival

The management of Kasepreko Company Limited, last Tuesday donated assorted drinks and cash of GH�1,000 to the Nkusukum Traditional Council as its support to the Odambea Festival scheduled for this Saturday. The items, which comprised 10 cartons of Kasapreko drinks, 50 pieces of branded T-shirts, 12 pieces of branded umbrella�s and a box of branded car air refreshment, were received by Nana Kwesi Brebo III, the acting Paramount Chief of the Nkusukum Traditional Area on behalf of the Council. The donation was to support the chiefs and people of the Nkusukum as they celebrate the Odambea Festival this year. Nkusukum traditional paramouncy comprises of the following towns, Saltpond, Yamoransa, Biriwa, Abonko, Akatakyiwa, Anokyi and Mankessim, all in the Mfansteman Municipality in the Central Region. The significance of the celebration is to mark the migration of the people from Takyiman to Mankessim which also marks the beginning of food harvesting. The theme for this year�s festival is � Promoting Cultural Is Heritage to Eradicate Social Vices�. Nana Kwesi Brebo III, expressed gratitrude to Kasapreko and promidsed that this year�s celebration will be exciting and thrilling. He assured guests to the festival of great musical show and funfair and welcomes all to Saltpond on Friday, August 26, 2011, for the Akwaaba bash. There will also be a procession of Chiefs through the principal streets of Saltpond to precede the grand durbar at the Victoria Park. A state dance will climax the durbar in the evening. Some artistes to perform at the Akwaaba bash include , K.K. Fosu, Kofi Nti, Mzbel, Atsu Koliko, Guru, Omar, Keche and Kwabena Kwabena.
