Randy Abbey Reacts To Stealing Allegation

Ghana under 23 management committee head, Randy Abbey has angrily reacted to allegations of theft against the team at the All African Games. He has launched a scathing attack on the leader of Team Ghana, Erasmus Adorkor at the multi sports event for leaking the information to the press. The state-owned Graphic Sports reported on Thursday that officials at the Games village had accused the Ghanaian players of stealing spoons, cups, bed sheets, pillow cases and other souvenirs at the sub-standard facility. He is fuming with rage over the reportage and says it could affect the psyche of the players and tarnish the reputation of the country. I am in no mood for jokes because this is a very serious matter but the question is you should ask Adorkor (Erasmus) how such a disturbing story got to the Graphic Sports. First of all, its not true, but when such information goes out there, do you know what it does to our image? There have been so many inconveniences at the championship, but as a leader you dont run around calling home and complaining. Thats not leadership at all. These are people who claim to have the love of the nation at hard. Ghana plays defending champions Cameroon on Thursday in the semi-final.
