Political satirist and campaigner for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), A- Plus, seems to have found some love for Vice President John Mahama.
�I�m in love with John Mahama. He is a very good man and I just can�t stop thinking about him. I suspect he must have read �How To Make People Like You In 60 Seconds� because the very first time I met him I fell in love with him immediately and I have been thinking about him for close to three days now�, A-Plus told NEWS-ONE.
A-Plus is a multi-talented Ghanaian entertainment personality who has not hidden his affection for the NPP and his new found love for the leading National Democratic Congress (NDC) personality is a bit curious.
He explained: �You know I was to meet with the Vice President over the Music and Food festival and I happened to get his number from someone. All I did was to send him a text in which I introduced myself and why I wanted to see him. I was shocked that he replied and we booked an appointment.
�On the appointment day, he called me at 10 in the morning to explain that he was in Kumasi and that his flight would delay a bit so we should reschedule the meeting to about an hour�s time. I was shocked again.
�When we got to the Castle, there were some white guys who wanted to see him but he let them wait and attended to us first. I was shocked again but he explained that he has a personal affection for young Ghanaian entrepreneurs who are doing something with their lives and that he would not hesitate to support such Ghanaians,� A-Plus added.
He said John Mahama asked for some literature to study on the Music and Food festival, so he could decide how exactly to lend his support.
The Music and Food festival, slated for Saturday, October 29 at the Ghana International Trade Fair Center, is to promote Ghanaian food and music.
The event has been put together by Konsule Entertainment.
A statement from the organizers said, �This annual event will attract the biggest crowd ever in the history of events in Ghana. We expect 250,000 to attend this festival which will surely be the most exciting event to be staged in Ghana.�
