Actress Warns Smitten Fellow To Behave Or Else.......

Pretty Ghanaian Actress Vivian Jill Lawrence, well-identified with her lead role in the Twi movie Ama Ghana, has told her fellow actor Davies Kofi Esuman, popularly known as Salinko, to stay off her back or else risk her wrath. Vivian, who has not taken it lightly with recent media reports allegedly masterminded by Salinko, has cleared the air in an exclusive interview with Spectator Agoro on Monday, insisting that she had and would never have anything amorous doing with the said fellow, let alone date or get married to him. She has, thus, rubbished reports that she has dated Salinko for three months now and that they (she and Salinko) are on the threshold of a grand wedding slated for December, this year. A visibly-puzzled Vivian was reacting to a media report in The Weekend Moment newspaper a fortnight ago quoting Salinko as having confirmed that Vivian had accepted to marry him, after they have dated secretly for three months now. I proposed to her, but she did not readily give in to my proposal until her mother died and I signed a cheque worth several hundreds of Ghana cedis. She (then) readily gave into my proposal and asked if I have any property, (to which) I told her that currently I have a plot of land yet to be developed but I can cruise her around in my car. I have already presented the drinks to her family and she has promised not to let me down, though Im a bit sad that her mother never lived to see her daughter get married to a prominent and responsible man like me, Salinko told The Weekend Moment. But in a sharp rebuttal, Vivian has sent an unwavering caution to Salinko to behave responsibly and refrain from using her name to hype himself. I used to take this as a joke from day one, but I expect him to behave responsibly henceforth because hell not like it if I lose my cool. Vivian added: This is serious and malicious. He (Salinko) keeps creating the impression that something is going on between us. This is irresponsibility because such a thing has and will never happen. He goes about talking to radio stations and saying all sort of things about me even though he apologized to me and said that the reporter misreported him. The apology, Vivian said, was delivered last Friday, during a meeting at the Mikling Hotel in Kumasi organized by the Ashanti Regional chapter of the Ghana Actors Guild. She also discounted rumours that her family has threatened to sue the reporter of the said story, insisting: This is false and weve never said anything like this anywhere. This is one of the things that he (Salinko) has been saying on radio which is never true. I really dont know who has been advising him that such media tactics can hype him!
