MAN City ace Wayne Bridge has bought a �40,000 engagement ring to propose to The Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford.
The defender, 31, snapped up the 3.5-carat canary yellow rock from posh Graff Diamonds on London's Bond Street.
He told friends he was waiting for "the perfect moment" to offer it.
Wayne and Frankie, 22, have only dated for nine months. A pal said: "He just hopes she says yes."
