Minister of Youth And Sports Motivates The Stars

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Clement Kofi Humado has urged the Senior National team, the Black Stars to ensure a convincing victory for Ghana when they face their Sudanese counterparts to make their qualification to 2012 African Cup in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea a done deal. Mr Humado in a goodwill message to the Black Stars in their match against Sudan on Saturday 8th October, 2011 said the whole country was behind the team and expects nothing than total victory. Mr Michael Akwasi Sarpong, Head of Public Relations of the Ministry in a press release on behalf of the Minister copied to GNA Sports said the Minister on behalf of the Government and the people therefore asked the team to put behind them any possible unfriendly conditions that may await them in Sudan and win glory for themselves and mother Ghana. "l know this is a difficult match but the Black stars have proven to be very good away performers in recent times and this match will not be any different since the whole country is rallying behind them to fly high the flag of Ghana come Saturday", the Minister said. He urged the technical and management teams of the Black Stars to prepare the players technically and psychologically to meet the challenges of the match. Mr Humado appealed to Ghanaians to remember the Black Stars in their prayers since their participation in the Cup of Nations would inure to the country's benefit.
