Ghana captain John Mensah admitted that they had been pushed hard for victory by hosts Sudan and he was pleased that The Black Stars had achieved their main target, to qualify for 2012 Africa Cup of Nations finals. "We worked hard to get the three points� John Mensah told Cafonline.com after game. The skipper went on to say he was proud of his teammates for the playing well and show energy and power which enabled us to two under hot weather conditions in Khartoum. Mensah paid tribute to a resolute Sudan who he said had made it hard for Ghana but added that Sudan were little afraid at the back line. We seemed to have more confidence and we are stronger but actually Sudan did well if we see the games they played before today. They were unbeaten until today, so they have a good team. Mensah who scored his team�s second goal went on to describe the goal as �Very important goal in my career with Ghana's Black Stars as it is my first time to score for the national team, so l am very happy score the goal that sealed victory for Ghana. Mensah thought playing at the height of the Khartoum heat was tough for both teams. �If you look at Sudanese players you will find out that they also struggle of the high heat. It was not easy for our players because it is very hot weather and very hard for us as the most us did not play under this kind of weather, but we managed in the end�
