While many television viewers are yet to come to terms with the loss of popular judge Efo Kojo Mawugbe, death has snatched another former judge. This time, Nana Abena Afriyie, also known as Mrs. Mercy Poku-Dankwa, the Werempemhemaa of Bechem. Nana Abena Afriyie was a regular judge on the TV3 Ghana�s Most Beautiful pageant and is remembered for her often insightful remarks in the area of customs and traditions. She passed away last Friday, October 7 in Accra after a sudden illness. She was the wife of Mr. Yaw Poku Dankwa, formerly of Ministry of Chieftaincy and Culture. She left behind four children.
