James Bond's Next Adventure...

THE latest James Bond adventure will be called Skyfall, it was announced yesterday. It will see Daniel Craig's secret agent joined by actors Albert Finney and Ralph Fiennes. Dame Judi Dench returns once more as spy chief M and Oscar winner Javier Bardem will star as the spy's latest nemesis. At a press conference in London the film's director Sam Mendes - who admitted he had been a fan of the series since childhood - said the film would be shot in London, Turkey and Scotland. Finney has already been a villainous star of rival Bourne film franchise, but movies bosses would not go into detail about his or Fiennes' roles in the new Bond film. Craig revealed filming starts today, adding: "It's too late to turn back now". Bond girl Naomie Harris plays an agent called Eve. French actress Berenice Marlohe said her character would be "glamorous" and "enigmatic". The franchises' future was thrown into doubt when studio MGM filed for bankruptcy in 2010. But the latest instalment will hit cinema screens a year from now four years after Bond's last adventure, Quantum Of Solace. And its 43-year-old star has been impatient for filming to start, previously saying: "We've got a script, it's fantastic. I'm gagging to go, I've had a break now. "Although it sort of seemed like it was never going to happen, it always was going to happen - it was just a matter of sorting out people and financing. "We start shooting October or November this year. "It's been nice to have some time off from the role, it's given me a chance to have a break."
