Bracket and WAJE Storms Ghana For Farmers� Day Bash

Nigerian music duo, Bracket of the smash hit, �Yori Yori� fame is set to perform in Ghana for the first time since their hit song took Ghana by storm. As part of this year�s Famer�s Day celebrations in December, NMJ International and Scratch Studios will host a concert headlined by Bracket, WAJE and Mimi. Bracket is made up of Nwachukwu Ozioko aka Vast and Ali Obumneme aka Smash, both from Enugu State. They met at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where they were students. They competed in Nigeria�s Star Quest competition in 2002. Their first attempt at commercial music was the release of an album entitled �Happy Day� in 2006 as a trio with third member being Clem Igwebuike Amobi. They followed up in 2009 with the hit album �Least Expected�, which had songs like � Yori yori� (which means sweetness in Igbo), �OK�, �Happy Day�, �No time�,� Happy Birthday�, �Bend Your Waist� and �Iwonimofe�. In 2011, Bracket release �Cupid Stories� which can boast of songs such as �Remember (Yori yori remix)�,and �Muah muah�. Bracket will be joined in Ghana by fellow Nigerian singer, Aituaje Iruobe, Popuularly known as WAJE (Words Aren�t Just Enough). She is the lady behind the remake of P-Square�s �Omoge Mi� and the female voice in the duo�s 2008 hit track �Do Me�, Banky W "Thief my Kele",M.I "One Naira". WAJE started singing professionally in 2005 while she was still in school, University of Nigeria. In 2008, she participated in the Zain/MTV Africa's Advance Warning competition and was in the top three. She released �Somewhere� which got a Hip Hop World Award nomination for Best Vocal Performance (Female) while �Kolo� got her a nomination at the Nigeria Music Video Awards for Best New Video. In 2011 Waje released another hit single entitled �So Inspired� featuring Muna. The Farmers� Day concert dubbed, �Microphone Moment� will take place at the Accra International Conference Centre and is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Divalish Fashions, Hungove Pub, The Michaels and Savethefrog Ghana.
