Aduana Stars have confirmed coach Cioaba Aristica has returned to the club, just five days after he quit the club.
The Romanian tactician decided to part ways with the Dorma-based club after claiming he wanted to attend to some pressing family matters after the sides 1-1 home draw with Heart of Lions.
He also launched an attack on the management of the team for failing to get him top-notch strikers and hinted at his players tactical and technical ineptitudes.
But the Board of Directors had a crunch meeting with him on Monday and managed to convince the 39-year-old to stay on as head coach until the end of the season.
Yes it true they (Board) met him and all his concerns have been addressed. He has agreed to continue to work and started training in the evening, Aduana General Secretary Ata Yeboah told Accra-based Peace FM.
He granted that interview and hinted he had some family matters to attend to. We tried to talk to him out of quitting his post and I am happy to announce that hell remain our head coach.
The Uefa license A Diploma holder signed a one-year renewable deal in August to replace Herbert Addo who led the club to their historic league triumph two seasons ago.
