Singer and actress Mzbel appears to be the one of those stars around whom news swirls. Even when the diva is asleep, news could be going round that she was up and about doing one silly thing or another. The last �filla� in the capital has been that she is carrying the baby of a very prominent businessman. So when Showbiz met her last Tuesday, the first question that was put to he was what everyone had been speculating in whispers, �Mzbel, are you pregnant?� She smiled as she was expecting the question. �They want to see me pregnant, huh? Every time it�s either I am pregnant, I am getting married or something of the sort. The pregnancy rumour has gone on for some time and Mzbel says even hr boyfriend fell for the rumour and asked that she ran a pregnancy test which turned out to be negative,� we have promised each other that we will make babies when we are both ready�, she disclosed. So what sparks off such rumours about her especially the one about her being pregnant. Could it be the unusually flowly cloths she wears these days? Mzbel�s followers may have noticed that she doesn�t wear her usual skimpy stuff, not in the last couple of shows. What does she say to that? �I am growing. I am not a teenager anymore. There are certain cloths that look good on a teenager and many not look good on an older person. I am growing so I don�t need anyone to tell me what to wear�, she said with a broad smile. Using the opportunity to talk about something that has been bugging her, Mzbel said she is not amused about the way some of her female colleagues defeated the purpose of the recently held Red Lipsticks show by coming on stage with their male counterparts. �Ordinarily, there is nothing wrong with performing with a male colleague who you have featured in a song or two but not an all female gig. �It defeats the whole idea of the show which sought to prove that we the females can rock audience all by our selves.
