Team Of The Week: 2- 4 December

Karim Mumuni (Coriano) The 18-year-old kept the post for the Coriano in their 2-0 win at Massa Lombarda. The rasta-haired stopper was in great shape as he denied the home side all attempts to even pull a goal back. His performance merits the starting berth as first choice goalkeeper. Rahim Ayew (Lierse BK) Rahim has returned from injury and has been putting up impressive showings for Lierse BK. The former Eleven Wise influential player was one of the brightest spot in the Lierse team as they fought from two goals down to draw 2-2 with KV Mechelen. The first of the Ayew brothers could perfectly fit into the right-back role. David Addy (Panaitolikos) The FC Porto loanee returned from suspension to put a command display for new boys Panaitolikos who suffered as a result of their numerical disadvantage losing 2-0 at giants Olympiakos. The former Ghana U20 defender worked harder after his team-mates sending off enjoying that Panaitolikos concedes less goals. Francis Dickoh (Aris) Dickoh scored the second goal for Aris help them overcome giants Panathinaikos 3-1 in a cagey battle in the Greek Super League. The former Hibernian defender was good in the air and kept Quincy Owusu-Abeyie checked. Jerry Akaminko (Manisaspor) The former Kpando Heart of Lions defender took charge of the Mersin attacking line strolling over them with impunity. Manisaspors point from this game hugely depended on the physical presence and the good ball reading abilities. Anthony Annan (Vitesse Arnhem) Annan was the livewire of the Vitesse midfield and dominated his department creating space in midfield Vitesses attack to work with. Kwadwo Asamoah (Udinese) Kwadwo Asamoah gave his best in the game against Inter Milan. He held the Udinese midfield together offering Pablo Armero the opportunity to move forward and join the attack. Asamoah formed a great rearguard in midfield overrunning the game plan of their troubled host. Stanley Aborah Junior (Vitesse) The son of the former Ghana international scored from a powerful header to make it 3-0 for Vitesse on his debut start of the season. Until he was replaced, Stanley looked lively in attack with swift pacing runs and sublime skills. Kwame Quansah (Heracles Almelo) Talk about goal of the week and you mention Kwame Quansahs scissor kick that came on 42 minutes to help Heracles Almelo to a 7-0 win. The 29-year-old had an earlier penalty appeal turned down but he went ahead to score just moments later. Andre Ayew (Olympique Marseille) Andre scored his seventh goal of the season helping Marseille to beat a stubborn Caen side 2-1 to move to up seventh place. Andre opened the scoring from a rebound after Amalfitanos shot had come off the cross. Jordan Ayew (Olympique Marseille) Jordan Ayew is making a case for himself this season. The 20-year-old talented forward coolly finished off an attack that was initiated by his elder brother. Jordan showed great pace and flare in attack causing enough problems for Jerry Vandam and his colleagues in defence.
