Former Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng is backing his country of birth Germany to win the next year�s European Championships.
The Germans are in a tough Group comprising Netherlands, Denmark and Portugal in Pool B.
His junior brother, Jerome, will a member of the German side at the finals in Poland and Ukraine.
Boateng, a former Germany youth international, believes Joachim Low and his troops can win the ultimate.
�Germany is playing outstanding, and has the potential to win the European Championship. It�s nice that my brother is a part of the team,� Boateng said in an interview with the sports news channel Sky Sports News HD.
The AC Milan player added that his career run entirely according to plan.
�I said, I would like to be a superstar. I aspire to, not to come up. Therefore you have to embody what you want to be. Milan is beautiful. Currently I am living my dream. The fans love me, and I love the fans,� said the 24-year-old midfielder.
At the same Boateng praised the former national team captain Michael Ballack from Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen.
�For me, Michael Ballack was one of the best players in Germany, which has always given everything for his country. He was a great captain,� said Boateng.
