Ghanaian actor John Dumelo over the weekend lifted Ghana�s flag high in Australia at this year Afro Australia Music & Movie Awards. He received this year�s �Best Outstanding African Male Actor 2011� for his performance in the Ghanaian and Nigerian movie industries. This adds up to the numerous laurels he has won since he made an entry into the movie industry. He won the Best Actor In A Supporting role for his role in �The Game� at the first ever Ghana Movie Awards held last year. In July 2010, he won Best Actor at the Terracotta Awards held to celebrate excellence in talent and creativity in the Nigerian film and television industry. Earlier that year, he was nominated for African Academy Awards (AMAA) Most Promising Actor of the Year for his role in the controversial movie, �Heart Of Men�. In 2009, he was also voted Ghana�s Best Actor at the �Joy FM Night With The Stars�. This year, he was adjudged Best Actor Supporting Role at the Nollywood & African Film Critics� Awards (NAFCA) held at North Carolina, in the United States.
