Hearts Of Oak Unveil New Board Of Directors

The new board of Directors of Accra Hearts of Oak headed by Togbe Afede XIV,on Monday met the technical team and the playing body at his residence at 37 near Osu to officially unveil the new directors of the club to the team. In his remarks he told the team their plans for the season, pointing out that the teams failure to participate in Africa competitions was something of the past. According to him, Hearts of Oak's main agenda will be to recapture their former continental glory in a grand style which made them Africa Champions league Champions in the year 2000. Some directors of the club present at the meeting were; Togbe Afede(XIV),Emmanuel Commodore Mensah, Alhassan Andani, Mrs.Heward Mills, Fred Crentsil,Alhaji Ankabi and Prof. Kofi Kumado. Members of the playing body in attendance were headed by club captain Samuel Nzemaba, Mahatma Otoo, Isaac Ofori, Owusu Sefa and ace goalkeeper Sammy Adjei among others. Conspicuously missing was the head coach Nebusso Vucecivic and Uriah Asante.
