Liverpool trialist Mumuni Abubakar is convinced that he has impressed the coaching staff at Anfield over the last two weeks and is confident he'll be offered a contract. Abubakar, who is a Ghana Under-20 international, had been given permission to undergo a trial with the Reds by his current team New Edubiase United and believes he has left a telling impression. The 18-year-old claims his agent, Oliver Arthur, is discussing the next step with the club, but the midfielder is confident he�ll soon be playing in the Premier League. Speaking to Joy Sports, Abubakar said: "They were impressed by my performances during training and the match that I played. "The technical team like my style of play, so hopefully they will sign me. "When you go to trials, they talk to your agent and not you the player. Liverpool is talking with my agent [Oliver Arthur] now. "They're impressed with my performances so we should get a favourable response."
