Ghana To Open Nations Cup Campaign In White Jersey

Ghana will begin their campaign at the Nations Cup in a public-preferred white jersey. The Black Stars play Botswana on Tuesday at the Stade Franceville in their Group D opener. Local fans believe the 2010 Fifa World Cup quarter-finals have lucky in matches when they wear the all white jersey. Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic has named three debutants- Jordan Ayew, John Boye and goalkeeper Adam Larsen Kwarasey in his starting line-up. Black Stars last lost their opening match 27 years ago at at the 1984 finals in Bouake against Nigeria.
