Ghana Not Bogged Down By Guinea Threat- John Pantsil

Ghana stand-in captain John Pantsil says their approach to the final Group match Guinea will be no special. The Guinean have emerged as credible opponents at the tournament after mauling Botswana 6-1 last Saturday. The Sylli Nationale have also exhibited an attractive brand of football at the tournament under Frenchman Michel Dussuyer. Pantsil claims their next match cannot be used as a gauge to measure their title winning credentials. The next game is about as big a test as the opening two matches, Paintsil said. By the qualification format, we are not yet there. The two matches are taking place at the same time and we cant guarantee the outcome of the other result which means we need to fight for our place. He added that: They [Guinea] will come in strongly after their score-line the last time but we are not focusing on that result. This is a new game that we are all pushing for. We are very, very determined to win and win in every other game. The Black Stars need a draw against their West African neighbours to top Group D.
