Adam Kwarasey is confident of improving at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations and says criticisms about his goalkeeping have been taken in good faith. The 24 year-old shot stopper conceded his first goal at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday in Ghana�s 1-1 draw with Guinea. Kwarasey, who has taken some flak for his aerial abilities admits but he is now looking forward to improve and build himself as Ghana�s number one. He told www.ghanafa.org: �If it [criticisms] doesn�t kill me, it will only make me stronger so you just learn from your mistakes.� The goalkeeper admits he has had difficulties at the tournament. �In the last match [Mali game] I struggled a lot with the crosses and corner kicks, especially set pieces and today, [Guinea match] set pieces was not a big problem. I just have to take the positive things with me and just look forward.� Kwarasey is happy to see Ghana qualify to the next round after a rather difficult clash against Guinea. �Of course it [game with Guinea] was a nervous game. For me, we had to least draw to proceed to the next round and it shows that all the games in this tournament are tough so this was definitely a tough game,� Kwarasey said. After conceding his only goal at the tournament so far, Kwarasey says upon reflection, he should have prevented that goal. �Right now, I think I should have taken it. To be honest, I don�t know what happened but I just have to look forward and work with my positioning. �It�s been a bit difficult in this tournament but I just have to look forward and don�t think too much about my mistakes� he says.
