Whitney Houston Wanted To See Jesus Christ

WHITNEY Houston feared "the end was near" in the days before her death, it has been claimed. The pop megastar, who died in a hotel bath on Saturday, also told pals she "really wanted to see Jesus". According to US website TMZ.com, Whitney was "very spiritual" in her final days quoting the bible, singing hymns and speaking about the afterlife with friends and family. On Friday, a day after she sang Jesus Loves Me in her final public performance at Tru nightclub in Hollywood, she told one of her friends: "I'm gonna go see Jesus I want to see Jesus." The following morning, hours before her death, Whitney was discussing a bible passage involving John the Baptist and Jesus. She reportedly said: "You know, he's so cool, I really want to see that Jesus." Meanwhile, Whitney's ex Bobby Brown has been told NOT to attend her funeral. R&B singer Bobby is said to be "extremely disappointed" after hearing from people closely connected with her family. He is the father of Whitney's 18-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina, who was comforted by her mum's mentor Clive Davis on Saturday. Davis decided to proceed with his planned pre-Grammy party at the same hotel where Whitney died apparently causing outrage among the star's family. US celeb gossip website Radaronline.com quoted a family insider as saying: "The mood in (Davis's) suite was just that of pure shock. Bobbi Kristina was absolutely inconsolable, she was rocking back and forth on the couch, crying hysterically. "Clive was already dressed in his tux and most of Whitney's family was already dressed for the party. "There wasn't any mention of the party proceeding or being cancelled by Clive. He told Whitney's family that they could stay in his suite as long as they needed to, and then after about 45 minutes with them, he left. "He said he had to go downstairs and take care of the guests, but the family had no idea that the party was going to proceed. Whitney's aunt, Mary Jones, was absolutely stunned that the party was going ahead, and she was very upset that it hadn't been cancelled."
