Midfielder Sulley Muntari was denied an obvious goal in AC Milan�s 1-1 draw with Juventus on Saturday night.
The Ghana international had his goal-bound header scooped from hitting the back of the net by goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon in the 25th minute of the game.
Television replays however showed the ball had definitely crossed the line as the midfielder set off to celebrate but the officials failed to give it.
Muntari�s disallowed goal emerged extremely critical for it would have given the Rossenerri a comfortable two goal lead after Antonio Nocerino had already edged them ahead with a deflected effort on 15 minutes.
It would have been the second consecutive goal by the 27-year-old for his new club since making a shocking deadline switch from Inter Milan in January.
Rather, Juve rallied itself to clinch a priceless equaliser in the 83rd minute through substitute Alessandro Matri.
The crucial point earned ensured the Old Lady preserved its unbeaten run this campaign though a point behind Milan at the top of Serie-A with a game in hand.
