I'll Succeed Prez Mills Not Akufo Addo - Akua Donkor

The founder of newly-formed political party, the Ghanaian Freedom Party (GFP) Madam Akua Donkor, has stated that she will succeed his Excellency President J.E.A. Mills and not the NPP flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. According to her, if Ghanaians give her the mandate to become the next president, her priority would be to ensure that she puts in corrective measures to transform the economy. Speaking to the Daily Democrat newspaper in an interview, she averred that the country possess various natural resources like gold, manganese, cocoa, bauxite, diamond, arable land and more importantly petroleum among other but the NPP and NDC have failed to use the resources to improve the lot of Ghanaians. Hon. Akua Donkor argued the NPP and NDC have plundered the states coffers to cater for their families. According to her, the poverty that has engulfed the Ghanaian society can be attributed to bad policies and corruption in high places, hence after careful study she believes she is qualified to deliver the country from slavery. The former assembly woman for Ejuratia electoral area in the Ashanti Region said she will win the December elections adding that she is fully prepared when the Electoral Commission sets the ball rolling. Hon. Akua Donkor stressed that her administration would be a transparent one and that she will not employ criminals to do their own thing. According to her, discipline would be her topmost priority if she is voted for and that agriculture will be one of her concerns to provide job avenues for the youth. Hon. Donkor pledged to formulate and implement good policies that would ensure that the national cake is shared equally while also providing free education and promoting quality healthcare. She urged politicians not to use vulgar statement during their campaigns but to use language that would unite Ghanaians.
