Kotoko Deny Aduana Beating

KUMASI Asante Kotoko have flatly denied being manhandled by Aduana Stars fans last Wednesday at Dormaa during a league game. Kotoko managed to draw with Aduana Stars at Dormaa for the first time last Wednesday. After the contest reports spread in Kumasi that Aduana Stars supporters beat Kotoko players and fans that made the trip. But a leading Kotoko fan that made the trip, Nana God Bless said no Kotoko official was beaten at Dormaa. He however noted that Kotoko�s goalkeeper trainer Joe Carr was hit by a stone in the head thrown from the stands. Nana Godbless described the unfortunate incident that happened to Joe Carr as an isolated case. The Kotoko guru heaped praises on Aduana Stars management for welcoming the team well at Dormaa. He prayed that Aduana Stars would continue to live in peace with Kotoko for the development of Ghana soccer. Another leading Kotoko fan, Kwabena Yeboah, Publisher of the Africa Sports, who also made the trip, said Aduana did not manhandle Kotoko. He noted that there were some isolated cases like what happened to Coach Carr.
