Tragic information reaching Peacefmonline.com indicates that Ghanaian actor and producer, Godwin Kotey is dead. He is reported to have died this morning at the Legon Hospital after taken ill for about a year. Mr. Kotey's last movie was 'I Sing Of A Well' by Leila Djansi where he played Akorfa Adjeani-Asiedu's husband. Hailed as one of the great actors in Ghana, Godwin Kotey was indeed a remarkable man who over the years established himself as one of the most dedicated and creative directors in the country. As an educator, actor, playwright, producer and director, he inspired and set ablazed paths in the Performing Arts leaving distinct footprints with his flair, technique and originality. Within the industry, Godwin�s unique style and innovation was the power with which he captivated audiences.
