The Bank of Ghana has cautioned banks in the country to wake up and deal with the threat of money laundering.
According to the Central Bank though the banks have made strides in dealing with money laundering they should do more.
Head of Banking Supervision, Franklin Belnye made these remarks at the opening of uniBank�s Techiman branch.
The bank said it is happy to have brought its 19th branch closer to the people of Techiman to oil the growth of the municipality.
uniBank was acknowledged as the Best Growing Bank and Best Bank Customer Care by Corporate Initiative Ghana, organizer of the Ghana Banking Awards�.
