Edward Bawa, the Member of Parliament for Bongo constituency has encouraged government to float shares of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
According to him, the listing of the shares on the Ghana Stock Exchange will be an alternative to avoid another PDS scandal.

And how well is the Ghana Stock Exchange EVEN PERFORMING!!!!! so so losses! Talk is cheap!
...And when they were in charge, not only did not think of floating ECG shares, they intended to offload 80% of it to foreigners! Perhaps floating the sahres is a good idea, but when NDC talks of ECG, they need to be cained for all the wrongs they did in the PDS agreement prior. NDC is FAKE!
Sad he doesn't even understand the issues at stake. Float ECG shares for who to manage ecg? the same old hands and management style that has failed to deliver reliable power supply to Ghanaians???? It is better to keep you mouth closed and the judged as a wise man, the opposite is also true
If it was that simple why hasn't it been done all this while? You people just talk keke without reading to understand the issues at stake.
