A 100 million dollar shopping mall complex will soon be constructed at Tanokrom by a group of Ghanaian and foreign investors.
As a result of the project, artisans would be relocated from the Tanokrom Kokompe Light Industrial Area to Kansaworodo, said Mr Peter Kow Obosu, Director of Peekob Limited, a Ghanaian company facilitating the project.
He said this during the payment of compensation to 36 individuals whose farms and properties will be affected by the construction of the Light Industrial Area at Kansaworodo.
Mr Obosu said the construction of the shopping mall will begin as soon as artisans at Tanokrom Kokompe Light Industrial Area are relocated.
He spoke of the economic benefits of the project adding it would open up Kansaworodo for businesses and provide employment.
