Airtel Ghana has today launched the “The world of prizes™, an, SMS-based mobile trivia game exclusively for Airtel customers.* A first-of-its-kind to be launched specifically for the holiday season, Airtel Ghana encourages its customers to test their knowledge of pop culture, sports, science, history and more.
The goal of the game is to correctly answer the most consecutive questions. Customers can participate in as many as they require. The player with the most consecutive correct answers in a single game each week could win an iPhone 6 or win a cash prize of GHC 1000 in the daily rewards.
To participate, customers need to text WIN to 5040. The game will consist of multiple-choice trivia questions delivered via text message. Correct answers earn 50 points or more and incorrect answers earn 10 points which customers build up towards the daily, weekly and grand prizes.
“Airtel Ghana customers continue to be some of the most active gamers and SMS users and it is only natural to provide fun experiences that align with their interests by creating a trivia game with opportunities to win great prizes during the festive season,” said Manu Rajan, Marketing Director, Airtel Ghana.
“This mobile trivia game is also a chance for us to celebrate our network and acknowledgement by CIMG as the Marketing Oriented Company of the Year.”
