The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has asked the public to disregard reports of an eleven per cent increase in fuel prices
A press statement issued in Accra on Tuesday by Mr Yaro Kasambata, Head, Public Relations and Consumer Service at the NPA said it had observed with concern media headlines suggesting that the price of fuel had increased by 11 per cent at the pump, which was false.
The statement said: “The Authority encourages consumers and the media to check on the price boards of retail stations to determine the true prices of fuel on the market and not rely on data from any group of persons who purport to project fuel prices, which always turn out to be poor and inaccurate.”
“When in doubt, consumers and the media should check with NPA’s website or the bi-weekly publications of retail prices of OMCs published in the Daily Graphic, the Ghanaian Times, and the Gazette by the Assembly Press for accurate information on the retails of fuel by OMCs.”

so between the NPA and the OMCs who is responsible for the increment of fuel prices. they should tell us ooo. we dont want a situation where one government will stand up and say there is a debt somewhere and therefore it has increased prices of fuel aside the price adjustments from the OMCs. for now government has made us understand that it has washed its hands off the setting up of prices of fuel and its therefore the reposibility of the OMCs to do their own thing. so this conflict between the NPA which the goverment mouthpiece and the umbrella body for the OMCs is worrying.
Eii are people in this world lying like this???. Ooh this shows you people are really incompetentt. Will vote you people OUT
This man is rather putting dust in our eyes. You are making this statement to convince who. Massa, give us chance to think of NPP 60% votes. Anyhow we will vote for NPP.
