It has been established that all of Ghana's immediate neighbours (Togo, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast), have recorded some confirmed cases of Coronavirus infections, Italian Coronavirus death toll climbed by 196 to 827 in 24 hours and in China almost 4000 deaths have been recorded.
His Excellency The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has tasked his ministers to desist from all foreign travels except the most critical ones, until there is an approved vaccine for curing the CODVID-19 pandemic. His Excellency has also directed the finance minister to release a fund equivalent to $100 million to enhance our preparedness and preventive measures for the disease. This will enhance the expansion of facilities and infrastructure for preventing the Coronavirus disease.
His Excellency The President has called on all citizens and non-citizens to follow rules at all entry points into the country because preventive measures have been put in place at those points for all entering into the country to abide by and Ghana is well placed to minimize the economic impact of the coronavirus. The most exciting part of our preventive measures is when a British cabin crew member rates Ghana's surveillance at KIA to that of Heathrow.
His Excellency The President needs great commendation for such preventive measures and it is a sign that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is really a type who cares about the safety of the citizenry.
.... Signed....

Are we serious in this country called Ghana and if I may ask what is this man saying? Ghana we need to shut our borders like other countries have done... why open our borders to foreigners and travelers from affected countries and our president is there talking about measures being put in place to tackle an aftermath of a possible outbreak Godforbid! Isn't prevention always better than cure? Let's close down the airports and our borders like India and even Uganda has done... what the hell are we waiting for Mr President! As for Edmund Kyei just ***barred word*** over there!!!!
which proactive measures are you talking about...is it the post proactive measures or a figment of your own imagination. no public sensitisation, our boarders were porous..no detail information about those reported to have contracted the disease. and you are here congratulating your pay masters...incompetency at it's best
look at this guy...you want to score political point with an issue that is yet to be handled by the state..this after thought approach of this government will send them into opposition..bad publicity until we reported a case..nothing ...no proactive measures....but look at this guy...trying to set himself questions, answer and score himself a high mark....you guys should be serious
