The Executive Director of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Henry Kwabena Kokofu has assured Ghanaians and residents of Ashaley Botwe in Accra that the building located at 'School Junction' will be demolished.
There have been calls for the building which looks fragile on the outside to be demolished to avoid any accident in the future.
Kokofu, who was the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Bantama constituency in the Ashanti Region, told Kwami Sefa Kayi in an interview on Peace FM morning show 'Kokrokoo' that he went to the location and after seeing the building, he asked workers to stop work.
"I've immediately asked them to stop work...it needs to be pulled down because it is too dangerous. He doesn't have a permit from EPA and so owners of the building have been summoned to my office"
