" . . six police officers handcuffed me and took me to the Tarkwa Police station. Then I was taken to the CID office and transferred to the Commander's office and was severely beaten until I became weak. When the Commander realized I was weak he asked the officers to take me away . . "

MCE punches holes in Commander's account
Meanwhile, the MCE of Tarkwa Nsuaem has punched holes in the Commander's claims; backing the report of Yaw Atta.
"The commander told me that he wants to arrest Yaw Atta because he called him "sasabosam" so I calmed him down but he didn't listen. When you listen to the audio recording you will even realize that it wasn't Yaw Atta who called him "sasabosam". The condition of Yaw Atta when I went to the Police station was really bad; he was bleeding and so on..." he said on the same platform
He further described as unfortunate the commander's claims that Yaw Atta was injured after a fall.
